Team-Up for Youth

Team-Up for Youth is a nonprofit that strengthens the quality of after-school sports programs. We are committed to realizing the potential of sports to make a lasting difference in the lives of young people in low-income communities. Yet, too few of our children have access to quality programs. So, we're reshaping the landscape of youth sports through training, consulting, volunteer coaches, and our public policy work.

Description:
Team-Up currently works with over 120 community organizations to create sports and physical activity programs that help young people learn and grow socially, emotionally, and physically. Our core strategies include training, consulting, public policy, and volunteer placement. Team-Up's rigorous approach applies best practices from the fields of youth development, after-school activities, and health.

History:
Team-Up for Youth has been around for over 5 years. Since 2002, we've helped create new sports opportunities for thousands of kids.
