ABILITY Awareness is building a world of inclusion for people with health conditions or disabilities through housing, employment, education, media and volunteer opportunities.

Description:
As a national non-profit organization, ABILITY Awareness is building a world of inclusion for people with health conditions and disabilities through housing, employment, education, media and volunteer opportunities. The organization’s signature program, the ABILITY House, constructs accessible homes for low-income families where one or more members have a health condition or disability. Additionally, the ABILITY House program reaches out to volunteers with health conditions and disabilities to help build the homes, demonstrating to the community their skills, talents and potential as volunteers and employees. Through ABILITY House and its other programs ABILITY Awareness is changing minds and perceptions about people with disabilities.
