Girls Incorporated of Alameda County is a local affiliate of the national Girls Incorporated. We serve over 8,000 low-income girls and their families by offering free skill-building programs, academic enrichment, and counseling services throughout Alameda County. Our mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart and bold. Our goal is to empower girls to explore their potential and expand their sense of what they can accomplish.
History:
A non-profit organization established to help girls build self esteem and economic independence. Girls Incorporated of Alameda County has provided needed programs and services to girls and their families since 1958. Currently, we provide services at over 40 school and community sites throughout Alameda County.
