Padmasambhava Peace Institute
We are an educational non-profit dedicated to offering affordable retreat facilities, peace training opportunities, environmental studies and programs for the preservation of Tibetan art and culture.
Description:
Our organization is managed by a residential staff under the direction of Tibetan Buddhist master Jigme Tromge Rinpoche. In addition to running our own Buddhist events, we host a wide range of groups from different spiritual traditions, as well as environmental activist and educational groups. With our beautiful rural setting and extensive facilities, our mission is to support activities focusing on the regeneration of people, land and animals. We welcome full-time and part-time volunteers from all backgrounds to join us in realizing this vision.
History:
The Padmasambhava Peace Institute was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) in 2003 and moved to its Black Mountain Preserve, Cazadero, location in February 2004. Since that time we have hosted events with many noted spiritual teachers and environmental activists.
