 Please join us for a work party at the Lighthouse on East Brother Island in San Pablo Bay and help us restore and maintain this beautiful and historic asset. We will provide the boat ride, lunch, and a tour of the historic Lighthouse. People of all skill levels are welcome. Tasks include cleaning, weeding, painting, and many more. Directions:

From Marin...Cross the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge. There is no Point Molate exit eastbound; you need to backtrack. Take the exit toward RICHMOND PKWY / PT RICHMOND, keep RIGHT at the fork in the ramp, merge onto Castro Street, cross under freeway, then take right on-ramp for I-580 West, heading back toward the bridge. Just before the toll plaza, take the Point Molate exit (right). Follow signs to Point San Pablo Yacht Harbor.
From East Bay...From Interstate 80 (either direction), take San Rafael exit to Interstate 580 West toward Richmond-San Rafael Bridge. Just before toll plaza, take Point Molate exit. Follow signs to Point San Pablo Yacht Harbor.
The access road to the harbor is hilly, very bumpy and not well-maintained. Proceed with caution. |
