No construction experience necessary! Help build homes for limited-income families in our community. Habitat for Humanity East Bay builds "green" using environmentally-sustainable materials and methods. We are currently rehabilitating homes in Hayward through our Neighborhood Stabilization Program, our foreclosure recovery initiative. We welcome your help Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and we ask for a full-day commitment from 8:30 am until 4 pm. We especially need weekday volunteers. Groups can sponsor a build day by providing a financial donation and recruiting a team of volunteers. We look forward to building with you! Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
